However, as you may know, to obtain affordable internet is often an obstacle for many families. That is why LBUSD has partnered with Human-I-T, a local nonprofit with a program dedicated to assisting low-income families find low-cost internet offers in their area and helping them through the subscription process. Families will also receive a FREE Google Chromebook when they sign up. By sharing this program with your students, you are providing them with the tools required to stay ahead in this digital age. With a high-speed internet connection, your students can conduct research, monitor grades and assignments, utilize the full suite of Google applications and access supplementary resources on ST Math, Lexia, and Khan Acadamy. Since digital literacy is so important, having access to high-speed internet is an important step families can take to support learning at home. Help is available in Spanish and English.
